Hello! Thank you for submitting a PR. We appreciate it.
Unfortunately, but I think we cannot accept it because of several reasons:
- Configuration options described in the documentation are the most recent option. The
userMatchersoption was introduced in dex v2.23.0. - There is only the most recent information on the documentation website. We try to keep it in sync with the latest release. Probably, the error you faced was occurred because of the outdated dex version.

I have been trying to configure LDAP connector for Dex and I have found this error.
To be able to map groups for a user, userAttr and groupAttr should be keys of groupSearch instead of being elements of a list.
