That's not what is documented on https://redis.io/docs/latest/operate/rs/installing-upgrading/product-lifecycle/. Not sure what the correct date is ? Maybe the one in the security policy is wrong ?

EOL is automated based on information from https://redis.io/docs/latest/operate/rs/installing-upgrading/product-lifecycle/. So even if this is updated now it will be reverted back on the next auto-update.

@hebbet could you ask Redis maintainers to update https://redis.io/docs/latest/operate/rs/installing-upgrading/product-lifecycle/ too ?

redis/redis#14321 (comment)

Our documentation page refers to Redis Enterprise.

For Redis Open Source, the GitHub security page is the right one. We extended the EOL date of 6.2 to allow users to upgrade to 8 with no rush.

so we need to decide what version we want to track.

currently it is not clear if https://endoflife.date/redis is community version or enterprise

Yes.

Maybe we could activate the extended support column, move the enterprise support in it, and document the community version in the eol column ?
Or we could have two pages, one for each versions ?
WDYT would be the best choice here ?
