Sensor Setup

Sensors

The current Chariot setup can accommodate the emon temp/humidity sensors and the electricity sensor.

• emonTx + CT clamp(s) (electricity monitor) and/or optical sensor - Link (you can only have 1 emonTx per hub, but each supports up to 4 channels)
• emonTH temperature/humidity sensors - Link (you can have up to 4 per hub)

Sensor config

• Set the dip switches on the emonTH sensors you wish to use are set according this page - node ID 23 is for the external sensor.
• Insert batteries in the emonTH sensors, they are now ready to place for monitoring.
• Connect the CT clamp to the emonTx, insert batteries, make sure the dip switches are set to 1-on, 2-off, clamp around the electricity cable you wish to monitor.

Once the RPi is connected and booted up it will receive data from any sensors in range and push these to your server.
