Port Numbers

The Remote Control server listens for connections on a single port number. Examples of standard port numbers include SSH (22), HTTP (80), HTTPS (443), and many others. Because there can be several Instrument Framework applications running simultaneously on a single computer, it is important for each application to have a unique port number. Below is a (hopefully comprehensive) list of port numbers used in the Levy Lab. When you develop a new application please choose a unique number and add it to the list below.

  • 15213: Control Experiment
