@curquiza this drops support for Pydantic < 2. We currently support Pydantic 1 and 2 here which made sense at the time because some other big packages that I knew people were using along with this one did not support version 2 yet. At this point Pydantic 2 has been out over a year and as far as I'm aware the other packages now support Pydantic 2 so I think it is fine for us to drop support if you want me to do a PR to do that. If you want to keep support for Pydantic < 2 we should close instead of merge this. Python 3.8 failed because support for this version was also removed. It goes end of life later this month and rather than doing two breaking changes in a row with removing Pydantic < 2 support also I went ahead and removed Python 3.8 support now (camel-converter is one of my packages). If you want I can also do a PR to remove Python 3.8 support since it will only be a couple week when we would do it anyway. |
