After upgrading the gfactory central collector to htcondor 24, CEs are unable to advertise. This seems to be from the shift from <hostname>@unmapped.htcondor.org to ssl@unmapped.

Restoring the <host>@unmapped SSL mapping appears to get things going for accepting advertisements and satisfying COLLECTOR_REQUIREMENTS.

Jaime, I'm wondering if there's a cleaner way to handle this and would appreciate your feedback.

I don't understand the comment about <hostname>@unmapped.htcondor.org for SSL authentication. The default mapped name for SSL authentication has been ssl@unmapped for a long time. I don't see any mention of unmapped.htcondor.org in the older htcondor-ce configuration.

For more background, I'm working toward getting the collector upgraded from condor v9 to 24.

Older htcondor-ce central collector config mapped SSL clients to <cn>@unmapped.htcondor.org
htcondor/htcondor-ce@1d41866

Then the hostname portion is compared in the COLLECTOR_REQUIREMENTS

Ah, v9 is much further back than I was looking.
