Project Details

What problem does this solve?
StarPlex addresses the time-consuming and difficult process of validating a new startup idea. It provides entrepreneurs with a powerful AI tool to get instant, data-driven insights on market validation, competitor analysis, and funding opportunities, reducing weeks of research into minutes.

What makes this contribution valuable to other developers?
It serves as an inspiring, real-world example of a complex application built with the Perplexity API. It demonstrates an advanced use case combining the Sonar model with a custom 3D globe interface (Cobe, Mapbox), multiple data APIs, and a FastAPI backend, providing a great reference for building sophisticated, real-time, data-rich applications.
