Bug Fixes 🐛
- Attempt to fix a crash that could sometimes happen when transitioning back to neutral Stadium
- Reminder if you and your opponent are both using vanilla ISOs and you experience crashes, please let us know in the Discord
- Fix bug where half the time the Ranks would be swapped on the game setup screen
- Whenever you were on the right side, the ranks would have been swapped
- Fix an issue where some Grandmasters were not showing as such
Other changes 🛠
- Turn on FD transitions by default. The code to disable them has been moved to optional if you'd like to turn them off again
- Added logic that should prevent RNG desyncs when players have different configurations
Known Issues 🔍
- Many ISOs and mods are currently not working. This includes many mex based ISOs, Diet Melee, and I'm sure many more. Please reach out to the creators of these mods to try and support the new Slippi version. In the meantime, please use a vanilla ISO and disable your mods

New Features ✨
- Pokemon Stadium can now be played unfrozen (#37)
- To conform with most major tournaments, PS will always be unfrozen in both Ranked and Unranked
- In Direct and Teams, there is new UI to toggle between frozen and unfrozen. Press the Z button when hovering
- Pokemon Stadium is now a counterpick stage in Ranked. Final Destination takes its place as a neutral stage
- Ranks and ratings now show up in game
- You will find your rank on the Ranked character select screen. It will animate with rank and rating changes after wins and losses
- You and your opponent's ranks will show up on the game setup screen
- There are separate toggle options to disable your rank display as well as your opponent's ranks on the Slippi tab of Dolphin's settings
- Enhanced match status updates (#41)
- Should fix an issue where you could very rarely get flagged for an abandon loss despite never having entered the lobby with the opponent
- Opens up the option to better handle games whose reports are somewhat fragmented
- Added random button to the Ranked character counterpicking UI (project-slippi/slippi-ssbm-c#6)
- Sheik / Zelda toggle UI has been greatly improved (#46)
Bug Fixes 🐛
- Fix issue with standard controllers causing low FPS, while maintaining the same input latency (#47)
- Autofill and scroll UI on the name entry screen will now display correctly
- Fix bug where Ok / Redo buttons could linger after opponent had disconnected on the game setup screen
- Fix bug where holding Z on a non-active controller would disconnect from the opponent on the CSS
- Fix issue where unavailable colors could show up when switching characters in Ranked
- Prevent out of bounds costumes in Ranked

- Ledge Grab Limit of 45 now applies during timeouts
- If the game goes to time and exactly one player has exceeded 45 ledge grabs, the player over the limit loses and is shown a
FAILUREgame end screen. The winning player will see aSUCCESSgame end screen. - If both or neither player exceed the ledge grab limit, normal timeout rules will apply and both players will see
TIMEgame end screen. - This screen will display in Ranked, Unranked, and Direct. If you are using Direct to play a tournament that doesn't use LGL or uses a different value, simply ignore the game end screen and/or check ledge grabs in the launcher replay stats.
