Updates the development environment to the latest versions of software and adjusts some configurations to make it easier to maintain into the future. Installs PHP 8.2 and pnpm internally in anticipation of some additional work down the road to make working between the two branches (
developanddevelop-1.0) less painful overall.Technically speaking I don't think you can build the front-end for
develop-1.0inside the container right now because that installs NodeJS 22 which runs into issues with the current configurations. However, I'm not concerned about that because I a.) build outside the container and usenvmlocally to manage that and b.) want to upgrade thedevelop-1.0branch to the latest NodeJS anyways so this will quickly become a non-issue.
