This PR includes the functionality of writing an entry on the
/etc/hostsfile so that the browser extension users who run the forward proxy locally do not have to add this entry manually.The current entry points to 127.0.0.1 which normally works with the default configuration for the forward proxy. To cover more cases, not listening on 127.0.0.1 or all interfaces wildcard address, we should retrieve this information from the configuration.
