In some cases I must take screenshots using
getInstrumentation().getUiAutomation().takeScreenshot()so that I can capture other things on the screen that do not correspond to the activity.If you think that adding the possibility to add custom screenshots as a Bitmap might be useful to others, you can merge the pull request.
