Hi Wes, Eric,
based on an idea mentioned to Wes, I implemented an experimental method, Cloneproof Beat Flow, which I'd like to ask you to test. I haven't tested it yet at all since I am not familiar with the package and I figured it will be very easy for you to test it. So there might still be some trivial bugs in the code which I hope you will find immediately and will have no difficulty fixing.
