I started my journey in software engineering out of pure curiosity - breaking things to understand how they work. Over time, that curiosity evolved into a passion for 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 - systems that are 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, and 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 by design.

Today, I’m a 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 with 𝟵+ 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of experience building 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀, 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱-𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀, and 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗽𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 that support products at scale. My expertise lies in 𝗡𝗼𝗱𝗲.𝗷𝘀 / 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁, event-driven architecture, and cloud platforms like 𝗔𝗪𝗦 and 𝗔𝘇𝘂𝗿𝗲.

At 𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗠 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀, I’ve led modernization efforts for enterprise platforms - from migrating legacy systems to 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, to architecting 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 that process data with 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆. I’ve also helped shape reliability practices: 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀, 𝗣𝟵𝟵 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, and automation that cut CI/CD times by over 3×.

Before that, I worked with startups where I learned how to 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 — scaling apps to tens of thousands of daily users while improving developer velocity and code quality. Those experiences taught me one key thing: 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘁𝘆.

I’m passionate about 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀, and building systems that make developers’ lives easier. Outside of code, I share insights on 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, and 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵, helping other engineers think long-term about their craft.
