Hello! One person asked me to develop a Telegram importer for his personal use.
We have decided to publish this integration here.

IT'S NOT PRODUCTION READY VERSION
I am sure there are a lot of things that could be improved.
There is also some custom logic needed for the employer which I don't think should be included in the open-source version of the plugin (for example, merging notes by date and time).

But maybe someone will find this PR useful for developing an open-source-ready version of the plugin.
Have a nice day :)

Does Telegram have note-taking capabilities? I am not sure this is a good fit for Obsidian Importer which is mostly focused on importing content from notes.

@kepano yes, Telegram has note taking capabilities for text, video, audio and pictures with virtually unlimited free space. It's very convenient to "send to telegram" from mobile phone. Unfortunately editing is limited and classification is rudimentary like tagging. Thankfully you can export messages into big html or json files with all related media. All my friends use telegram as note taking app. I myself has 40k notes in it. Obsidian has much more convenien UI to turn short notes and ideas into knowledge base
