This page contains the complete keybind reference for Smart!. All keybinds can be customized in Options > Keybindings > Smart! Scaling Controls.

Grid Scaling

Action	Default Key	Description
Increase X	NumPad 8	Add one to grid width
Decrease X	NumPad 5	Subtract one from grid width
Increase Y	NumPad 6	Add one to grid depth
Decrease Y	NumPad 4	Subtract one from grid depth
Increase Z	NumPad 9	Add one to grid height
Decrease Z	NumPad 3	Subtract one from grid height

Modifier Key Method

Action	Keys	Description
Adjust X	X (hold) + Scroll or NumPad 8/5	Adjust grid width
Adjust Y	Z (hold) + Scroll or NumPad 8/5	Adjust grid depth

NumPad 0: Context-Aware Action

NumPad 0 performs different actions depending on which mode is active:

Active Mode	NumPad 0 Action
Spacing (; held)	Cycle axis: X → Y → Z
Steps (I held)	Toggle axis: X ↔ Y
Stagger (Y held)	Cycle axis: X → Y → ZX → ZY
Recipe (U held)	Clear recipe selection
Auto-Connect Settings (U held on distributor)	Cycle to next setting
No mode active	No action

This allows you to change settings without opening the Smart! Panel.

Customizing Keybinds

1. Open the Options menu (Escape)
2. Navigate to Keybindings
3. Scroll to Smart! Scaling Controls
4. Click any keybind to reassign
5. Press your desired key
6. Click Apply

Tips

• No NumPad? Use modifier keys (X, Z, X+Z) with scroll wheel
• Conflicts? Check for overlapping keybinds in Options
• Reset? Use the Reset button in keybind settings to restore defaults
