Recipe Selection lets you pre-select which recipe a production building will use before you place it. No more placing buildings and then manually setting recipes one by one!
When aiming a production building hologram:
- Enter recipe mode to cycle through available recipes
- See recipe details on the HUD (inputs, outputs, rates)
- Place buildings with the recipe already configured
- Works with scaling — all buildings get the same recipe!

When in recipe mode, the HUD shows:
- Recipe name
- Input items with icons and quantities
- Output items with icons and quantities
- Per-minute rates

- Select a Constructor hologram
- Hold
Uto enter recipe mode - Scroll until Iron Plate is selected
- Scale to 8×1 (NumPad 8 seven times)
- Place — all 8 Constructors produce Iron Plates!

Press K to open Smart! Panel and use the recipe dropdown:
- See all recipes in a list
- Visual icons for each recipe
- Per-minute rates displayed
- Click to select, then Apply

- Use with Scaling — Set recipe once, place many buildings
- Check the HUD — Verify recipe before placing
- Clear to reset — NumPad 0 (while holding U) clears selection
- Works with Extend — Extended buildings copy the source recipe
- Scaling — Place multiple buildings with same recipe
- Extend — Clone buildings with recipes preserved
- Smart! Panel — Visual recipe selection
